Matthews Provides Update on Knies After Practice
Following today's morning skate, Auston Matthews shared an update on his teammate's health:
"Matthews on Knies: we just saw him in the back, it appears to be nothing too serious. "
Leafs fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
The rookie has been great so far this season, with 16 points, including eight goals, in 39 games.
Nicholas Robertson filled in for Knies on the top line during practice, training alongside Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner.
The team is currently preparing to face the New York Islanders tomorrow, and we should get official news concerning Knies' status before the game.
