Trade Proposal Emerges Sending Nick Robertson to the West Coast
Nick Robertson's injury-riddled young career has made him a very divisive prospect. It may be time for a change of scenery, and a proposal has now emerged.
Robertson to Seattle?
In this proposed trade, the Leafs would would not only trade Robertson, but also upgrade on TJ Brodie.
Brodie has been great for the Leafs, but only has one year left on his deal paying him $5M annually. He would be replaced by 6'7 behemoth, and Toronto native Jamie Oleksiak, who is making $4.6M annually for the next three seasons.
The Maple Leafs would equally get back their third round pick that they traded for Mark Giordano, which would give them flexibility to offer sheet a young player.
