Bruce Cassidy reveals who should be the next Bruins Captain
The Boston Bruins have some big decisions ahead of them still after a record breaking 2022-23 regular season, and now they've got one more big choice to make, who should replace Patrice Bergeron as captain?
Plenty of options
They've got plenty of options for the role, with players like Charlie McAvoy, Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak all being capable of leading this team forward.
Given what a key role Bergeron has played on both ends of the ice in recent years, this decision needs to be thought over thoroughly, but one former Bruins coach has his mind made up already on who it should be.
Brad Marchand
According to Andy Strickland, former Bruins Head Coach Bruce Cassidy thinks Marchand would be a great choice for the role.
Brad will be a great leader, he'll just have to learn how to deal with younger players
It appears there's no bad choice between the Bruins top three veteran names, but Marchand could be arguably be their best choice, so Cassidy may be spot on with this one.
