ESPN Absolutely Destroys And Embarrases Brad Marchand
The NHL offseason is a time of predictions in the NHL. Every single person with social media or an outlet makes a prediction of some kind. Today ESPN made a prediction that is downright disrespectful.
Marchand Disrespected By The NHL
A prediction made by ESPN's experts says that Brad Marchand's point production will plummet all the way down to 46 points next season.
This is a massive falloff from his 67 points this past season. While yes the Bruins have lost a few key players Brad Marchand was and is still a top producer for a playoff-caliber team.
What Will Marchand Be Without Bergeron and Krejci?
The Boston Bruins are coming off of one of the best regular seasons in NHL history. Marchand was a big part of that as previously mentioned. He did play fewer games than normal after coming off of hip surgery. But the year prior when healthy Marchand had 80 points in 70 games.
Now it will be Marchand's opportunity to show that he can be an elite talent without David Krejci and Patrice Bergeron. He will still likely have his other linemate superstar David Pastrnak who should boost Marchand's point total beyond 46 single-handedly.
