MAJOR: Boston Bruins Punish Jake Debrusk
The Boston Bruins and Jim Montgomery are punishing Jake DeBrusk for missing a team meeting.
DeBrusk Punished
Head coach Jim Montgomery has just announced that he will be scratching forward Jake DeBrusk after DeBrusk was late for a team meeting.
Per Coach Montgomery, Jake DeBrusk was late to a team meeting and will not play tonight in Los Angeles.
DeBrusk is currently pointless through three games this season. However, last year he scored 27 goals and 50 points in 64 games with the Bruins.
Shades Of Seguin
Fans were quick to point out how this is similar to when Tyler Seguin missed a team meeting and was scratched.

happy 10 years since seguin was scratched after missing team breakfast babyyyyy
Seguin was traded soon after missing this team breakfast and has since gone on to be quite productive for the Stars.
This will certainly put DeBrusk's name in more trade rumors and we will wait and see if the winger is able to pick up his pace or be moved out.
