A top pick in the 2022 NHL draft has been suspended by his team following severe criminal charges.
Ronni Suspended By LIIGA Team
In a shocking turn of events, 2022 59th overall pick and Calgary Flames prospect, Topi Ronni, has been suspended by his LIIGA team, Tappara, for significant criminal charges.
Tappara announces that Topi Rönni (CGY) is facing criminal charges. He'll be withdrawing from team activities until further notice:
Ronni 6'2" centerman who has been playing at the top Finnish level for a few years now. This season he has scored 2 points in 12 games but will not be playing till further notice.
If found guilty on these charges, not only will Ronni's career be over but also his life and he will wind up in prison.
