The full details of the Chris Tanev trade was just announced and a surprising team, the New Jersey Devils, were a part of the deal.

to #TexasHockey: Chris Tanev (50% retained by CGY, 25% by NJD), rights to G Cole Brady

to #NJDevils: 2026 4th rd pick (DAL)

to #Flames: Artem Grushnikov, 2024 2nd round pick (DAL), conditional 2026 3rd round pick (DAL) only if Dallas reaches this year's Stanley Cup Final

The Devils will be retaining on 25% of Tanev's contract and will be getting a 4th round pick in return.
