New Team Eyeing Puljujarvi?

Since he has no contract for next season, Puljujarvi is still at the center of many rumors. At this time, some people are starting to think he won't sign a contract other than a Professional Tryout.

According to a reporter, the Capitals are interested in the forward.

Signing him would be a low-risk move that could pay well if Puljujarvi finally finds his rhythm in the NHL.

Considering his age and talent, he'd be an intriguing player to try at training camp.

However, he might not be ready to play at the start of the camp.

Major Injury

Just like Patrick Kane, Puljujarvi underwent double hip surgery this summer.

"Jesse Puljujarvi is working incredibly hard on his hip surgery recovery and it is paying off! Less than 3 months after double hip surgery and he is already skating more freely than before!"

Even if his recovery is going well, he'll likely miss the start of the season.

However, as you can see in the following video, things are encouraging and he seems extremely comfortable on the ice.

Do you think Puljujarvi will play in the NHL next season?

As seen on Blade of Steel - Metropolitan Division team could target Puljujarvi for PTO
