Elliotte Friedman reveals a big decision on Corey Perry's future will likely be decided today
Corey Perry has been at the center of many rumors since he left the Chicago Blackhawks' practice last week.
He hasn't been seen with the team since that moment, and Elliotte Friedman reported a new development on the situation.
Friedman Believes Perry Could Be on the Move Soon
The renowned insider Elliotte Friedman thinks that Corey Perry could either be placed on waivers or traded by the Blackhawks.
According to Elliotte Friedman: "He could either be traded or put on waivers."
Possible Destinations for Corey Perry
Perry's $4M deal makes a waiver claim less likely to happen. Teams will need to make room for his salary or find him another destination.
If he's traded or claimed on waivers, two teams are most likely to acquire him: the Sharks and the Ducks.
Fans can agree: seeing him back in Anaheim, where he played most of his career, would be great.
But however you look at it, it seems that Perry's time in Chicago is coming to an end.
