Blackhawks to Pay 3 Million Dollars to Corey Perry After Terminating Contract
The Chicago Blackhawks have kept the details of what occurred with Corey Perry quiet, and that will likely continue to be the case. Despite that, however, it has been determined that Corey Perry will be paid the majority of the contract that he signed with the Blackhawks, as they will be forced to pay him 3 out of the 4 million dollars that he is owed.
On top of the $1.02M cap charge while with team, CHI total cap charge will be $3.01M of Perry's original $4M contract
Perry was terminated by the Blackhawks earlier this season, however, both parties have kept the details to themselves on the reason why he was terminated.
