Paul Bissonnette and the Spittin Chicklets have been the main source of information about the Babcock situation and Ryan Whitney has revealed more disturbing information about the situation.
Whitney was given a report by a young player that Mike Babcock held private meetings at his home and not at the office.
The report says that the unnamed young player was invited for lunch at Babcock's residence and was asked to show Babcock their phone. After a thorough search of the phone Babcock asked the player to leave his residence without lunch being served.
Babcock's approach to his coaching tenure in Columbus was a harsh reality of the type of person Babcock is including a story revealed by an player that has yet to play an NHL game.
The story goes the player was sitting on the bench, taping his stick before a preseason game when Babcock approached the player and said "This is pretty amazing, isn't it?" to which the player agreed.
Babcock finished by the conversation by saying "soak it in, it's the last time you'll ever be on an NHL bench" and then left.
Pretty ruthless acts from the Head Coach and with all these allegations the future of Babcock's NHL coaching career is pretty much guaranteed over.
Although none of these allegations are confirmed and have not been investigated or proven true.
