BREAKING: Former Leafs Starter Signs With Division Rival
A former Leafs starting goalie has signed with a division rival, potentially seeking revenge against his former team.
Reimer Signs In Detroit
From 2010-2016 goaltender James Reimer was the man in net for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Since leaving the Leafs, he has played for Florida, Carolina, and San Jose.
It was just announced that Reimer would be signing with the Detroit Red Wings on a one year deal.
Reimer will be looking for a bounce back year in Detroit and potentially a year where he can beat the Leafs as much as possible. This past year he posted an .890 sv% and 3.58 GAA.
