Patrick Kane made his long-awaited return to Chicago today. The wait was well worth it for many Blackhawks fans although the way the game ended may leave a bitter taste in the mouths of many.
Kane Returns To Chicago For First Time Since Trade
As the Rangers did not play the Blackhawks after the trade last year, this was Kane's first game back in the city where he spent most of his career. It was certainly an emotional contest for the veteran winger, as well as for many fans of the team.

It is not often you see a crowd cheer for a visiting team scoring, especially when it is the game-winning goal. That is exactly what happened tonight though as the crowd at United Center erupted when Kane netted the goal.

Afterwards, as both teams left the ice, Kane stayed out a little bit longer to take a lap by himself to show his love for the fans that cheered him on through all his years in the windy city. It was one of those rare special moments that can never be replicated.
