BREAKING: Edmonton Oiler Forced to retire at 28
It was announced in the last few minutes that a former prospect for the Edmonton Oilers has officially retired.
Yakimov Retires
Bogdan Yakimov, 28, was forced to retire due to an injury.
He was drafted in 2013 and played two seasons in the Oilers' organization. He spent most of his time in the AHL and took part in one NHL game.
Last year, he played in the KHL before being injured.
