This NHL summer has been a wild one, with plenty of good stories and bad, and perhaps the most interesting of all has been the rise and official NHL welcome of superstar Connor Bedard.
Plenty of hype
Last season, Bedard put up an incredible 143 points in 57 games with the Regina Pats, leading him to be the unanimous first overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks.
The hype has been following him around for a number of years now, but he is finally ready to be on the biggest stage to prove himself at the next level, but a recent video has shown just how far ahead the NHL's best player is.

A recent training video has shown the two doing a drill together on the ice, and while Bedard looks great, the video shows just how incredibly far ahead of everyone else in the world McDavid is.
Sure, Bedard is still a rookie, but his skill level is second to none, and now watching the three-time Hart Memorial Trophy winner will give him an insight as to just how tough life is at the NHL level.
