NHL insider Elliotte Friedman has just revealed what is next for the Edmonton Oilers, and fans are taking to social media to show their hatred for the plan.
Elliotte Friedman Reveals Ken Holland's Plan to Bring Back Jack Campbell
The Edmonton Oilers are currently the laughing stock of the NHL, after being many analysts' predicted Cup Champion and completely flopping to start the year. Now, all eyes are on Ken Holland to see how exactly he plans on fixing the situation.
Elliotte Friedman revealed that Holland's plan is to pretty much do nothing, and hope that Campbell can make a return to previous successes. Friedman believes that the plan is to have Campbell return to the Oilers as a fix to their goaltending issues.
Elliotte Friedman on Saturday Headlines says the Oilers granted Jack Campbell permission to bring in Manny Legace with him for a few days in the AHL. Legace was a former goaltender coach for CBJ. Campbell worked with Legace in the summer.
Friedman adds: "I still do believe that its [the Oiler's] first choice to have Campbell rejoin the team and improve his play."
The Edmonton Oilers are in dire need of changes to their roster in order to turn the season around, and now it appears that Ken Holland is not going to make them.

Fans took to social media to share their displeasure with the idea that Ken Holland wants to bring back Jack Campbell as a solution to their issues this year.
Clearly, Holland is taking a risk by doing nothing, which could cost the Oilers their season, one that many think was their best chance at competing for a Stanley Cup.
