Edmonton Oilers place player on waivers to add Corey Perry to lineup
The Edmonton Oilers confirm a roster move after the acquisition of Corey Perry. The team place Adam Erne on waivers. Corey Perry's signature was made official earlier today by the Edmonton Oilers.
He has even already joined his teammates on the ice:

Adam Erne isn't on the ice for Oilers practice. The Oilers need to clear a contract to fit in Corey Perry. Today's waivers are announced at noon MT.
In 23 games this season, Erne has two points, including one goal. He's currently playing under a one-year deal that he signed last summer.
