Since taking a monstrous hit in game two, we've heard very little about the status of Panthers defenseman Radko Gudas. There was no mention of the grizzled veteran in Paul Maurice's post-game press conference after game two, and we now know more about the health of Gudas.
Gudas Absent From Practice
As the Panthers hit the ice for practice in Florida today, Radko Gudas was nowhere to be found. It's clear that the defenseman is still recovering from his scary injury, and all signs point to his unavailability for game three.
Maurice will need a miracle to replace Gudas' presence in his lineup, and surely their medical staff is working overtime to try and get Gudas healthy enough to play.
It's best not to rush players with head injuries, but anything can happen in the playoffs, especially the Stanley Cup Finals.
