Gretzky Criticizes Tkachuk's Goal Celebration
Wayne Gretzky was known for being a rather gentlemanly player. Despite this reputation, he criticized Matthew Tkachuk and his goal celebrations.
After game 2, Gretzky said this:
It appears Tkachuk took this advice with his series-clinching goal, the celebration was next level.
The celebration of this goal has been photographed and will be one of the most iconic images from the 2023 playoffs.
With the Panthers looking to clinch the cup, Tkachuk has been a key player and it is between him and Sergei Bobrovsky for the Conn Smythe if the Panthers win.
