Canadiens vs. Panthers Game Erupting Into Madness With Record-Setting Goal Numbers
This might be the craziest game in NHL history. In fact, it has already tied the second-place record for the craziest period of all time. We are witnessing history.
Canadiens vs. Panthers Descending Into Madness
We aren't even halfway through the game between the Canadiens and the Panthers, but you wouldn't be able to tell by the scoresheet.
The game stands at 9-4 for the Panthers, after a wild first period where the two teams combined for ten goals.
This first period ties the second-place record for most goals allowed in a period in NHL history.
The game has also featured an insanely rare double goalie-pull.
After being pulled after allowing the Habs' first three goals, Samuel Montembault was brought back in after Jake Allen allowed another four.
Sergei Bobrovsky hasn't been too hot either, but he has definitely been better than Montembault and Allen.
It's been a great night to pad the stat sheet for the Panthers, as almost every player has recorded a point.
With half of a game to go, who knows what other records this game will set.
