Habs Prospect Scores a Breathtaking Goal in BIG10 Championship Game
The Montreal Canadiens are having too much fun with their NCAA prospects right now.
While Lane Hutson and Sean Farrell are near-certain impact players at the next level, the lesser spoken-about Rhett Pitlick has just pulled off something incredible.
Pitlick Scores an Incredible Goal
Rhett Pitlick, brother of current Habs forward Rem, and cousin of Tyler, hasn't quite lived up to expectations after being selected in the fifth round of the 2019 draft.
Playing in the BIG10 Championship Game tonight, where his Gophers fell to the Wolverines, Pitlick pulled off this incredible goal:
He quite literally took the defender in front of him down on his stomach with his quick edges and puckhandling.
He is still by no means an elite prospect, but if he can pull this off every once in a while, there is definitely a path to the NHL.
