Leafs Fans Tastelessly Joke About Addiction on Social Media
After the recent incident involving Alex Galchenyuk and the police, there has been a lot of backlash on social media.
Especially since he wrote an apology letter and joined the NHL/NHLPA's Player Assistance Program.
It's good that he asked for help, which is a crucial first step towards rehabilitation.
However, once again, some fans took things too far by making a tasteless joke at the expense of the Montreal Canadiens.
Leafs Fans Tastelessly Roast the Habs
A picture was shared on Twitter showing Carey Price, Jonathan Drouin, Logan Mailloux, and Alex Galchenyuk. All of them are current or former Habs who joined the Player Assistance Program, except for Mailloux, who couldn't join because he isn't in the NHL yet.
This is truly crossing the line. Making fun of people who seek help isn't constructive at all.
Once again, fans have shown recklessness, providing further evidence of this fact.
