The New Jersey Devils have just taken care of one of their biggest off-season issues. They can now rest easy at night knowing one of their best players is locked up long-term.
Devils Extend Bratt
It has just been reported by Elliotte Friedman that the New Jersey Devils and Jesper Bratt have agreed to a contract extension.
The 8-year deal has an average annual value of $7.875, which totals to $63 million over the full eight years. 63 is also Bratt's jersey number.
With Bratt signed, the Devils can now focus on other off-season issues. Get used to Jesper Bratt, Devils fans, because you're gonna be seeing a lot more of him!
