BREAKING: Top Flyers Prospect Faces Long-Term Suspension
One of the Flyers' top goaltending prospects is going to be suspended for months after his recent actions.
Fedotov Suspended For Four Months
It was announced by the IIHF that Ivan Fedotov has a valid contract with the Philadelphia Flyers.
With Fedotov having a valid contract and him not obliging to it by staying in Russia, he will have some consequences to face from the IIHF.
- A four (4) month suspension on playing in official national and international games during playing periods. The suspension shall take effect on 1 September 2023 (first CSKA regular season game) and conclude on 31 December 2023.
Not Suspended from NHL
While he is not suspended from NHL play, he is suspended from international play meaning he cannot represent Russia in any way if it is an IIHF competition.
We will now wait and see if Fedotov will come to the NHL ever or if he will continue to play in the KHL.
