The Pittsburgh Penguins are looking to compete for a Stanley Cup this year. They just announced their opening night roster and they certainly have a chance of going all of the way.
Introducing your 2023.24 Pittsburgh Penguins.
The roster consists of 12 forwards, who will presumably play in the opening night game, 8 defensemen, and 2 goalies.
Forwards: Noel Acciari, Jeff Carter, Sidney Crosby, Lars Eller, Jake Guentzel, Jansen Harkins, Evgeni Malkin, Matt Nieto, Drew O'Connor, Rickard Rakell, Bryan Rust and Reilly Smith
Defensemen: Ryan Graves, P.O Joseph, Erik Karlsson, Kris Letang, John Ludvig, Marcus Pettersson, Chad Ruhwedel and Ryan Shea
Goalies: Tristan Jarry and Alex Nedeljkovic This also confirms that forward Jake Guentzel will be healthy for opening night which is massive as it was expected that he would be missing a few games to begin the year.
Now this group will focus on winning as many games as possible and making the Stanley Cup playoffs for a hopeful deep run.
