Crosby Tears Up Talking About Adam Johnson
Johnson played only 13 games with the Penguins, but he was a member of the organization from 2017 to 2020, playing mostly in the AHL.
Crosby reflected on his time with Johnson in a heartfelt declaration:
Crosby on the loss of Adam Johnson: "It's something that we've all been thinking about. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. Just a great guy, a great teammate, had an awesome attitude while he was here. Just genuinely happy to be playing in the NHL."
Crosby's words resonate with the current mindset of the community. One of every hockey player's worst fears came to reality. Everyone mourns and fears it could happen again. Let's hope this will push more leagues to do the same.
