This former Maple Leaf is getting some loving in his first few practices with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Radim Zohorna had only a brief stint with the Maple Leafs organization, being traded from Calgary to Toronto in March of last year and playing most of his time with the Marlies.
Now in Pittsburgh, he is making a push to make the squad after impressing in the Penguins pre-season games against Columbus and Detroit. His size and forechecking ability are impressive, and his willingness to get in the dirty areas could land him a spot on the Penguins' roster which has some openings in the bottom 6.
Zohorna is one of a handful of former Toronto Maple Leafs who have made the jump from Toronto over to Pittsburgh, following former GM Kyle Dubas to his new club. This includes Andreas Johnsson and Garret Sparks.
