Sidney Crosby has been the definition of high class ever since arriving in Pittsburgh. The longtime captain has led Pittsburgh to multiple Stanley Cup victories and has done wonders for the local community.
Pittsburgh Repays Crosby
The NHL's 2023 preseason schedule has been set, and the Penguins will be headed to Nova Scotia for a couple of games this fall. This is great for Crosby, who grew up in Nova Scotia as a kid.
This will be the first time in Crosby's career since his days in the QMJHL that he'll get to play in his home province. Certainly quite the treat for the captain!
Missed Opprotunity
The NHL missed out on a massive opportunity by not having Pittsburgh face Colorado in Nova Scotia this fall. Nova Scotia is home to another great NHLer and Stanley Cup Champion, Nathan MacKinnon.
MacKinnon is from Halifax, where the games are being played. The NHL missed a massive marketing opportunity by not having two hometown kids face off against one another in this Nova Scotia matchup.
As Seen on Hockey Feed - Penguins reward Crosby with a very classy gift.
