Penguins Players Personally Deliver Season Tickets To Fans
In a heartwarming gesture, the Pittsburgh Penguins organization had their players hand out season tickets to their fans.
It's not every day you get to meet your favourite NHL player, and it's even more rare that they bring you gifts! Even if those gifts had to be paid for.
You can see just how much this means to the family, as one person is seen wiping tears away in the background as Crosby takes the time out of his day to deliver the tickets and take photos with the family.
Penguins' Tradition is one of the Coolest in All of Professional Sports
While some Professional Sports teams have done this in the past, the Penguins are one of the only franchises to do it consistently. They have been handing season tickets out like this since 2007.
The Pittsburgh Penguins continued one of the coolest traditions in sports where their players hand-deliver season tickets, sign autographs, take pictures and spend some time with the ticket holders. (Swipe ➡️)
Since 2007, the Penguins have been the only major sports team to consistently do this.
Maybe the best interaction of the day was between Kris Letang and Munchie':
Letang: Who's your favourite player?
Munchie: Sidney Crosby
Letang: Oh Crosby. I'm surprised, he's not that good.
The sweet gesture will likely be remembered by these Penguins fans for their whole lives! Check out the photos from the Day.
