The Final Two Players To Make The Penguins Revealed
The Pittsburgh Penguins had a lot of competition for their final roster spots but the last two players to make the team have now been revealed.
The Final Two Penguins Revealed
This year's training camp has been one of the most competitive in recent memory for the Penguins with loads of talented players who can make the opening night lineup.
It seems like we know the two victors of training camp: the players who beat out many others to get the final roster spots.
Looks like Jansen Harkins and Radim Zohorna secured the two open forward spots on the Penguins' NHL roster.
I think that's the right call. The Right Choices
Harkins was not with the Penguins when training camp began but Kyle Dubas managed to claim him off of waivers from the Winnipeg Jets with the hope that Harkins would make the team.
Harkins has nothing left to prove at the AHL and if given the right situation, he could excel in Pittsburgh's system and potentially earn a spot in the middle six.
Zohorna on the other hand had been with the Penguins since the start of training camp. Zohorna originally started his career in Pittsburgh but spent last season with Calgary and Toronto playing only 10 games in the NHL.
He will now look to pair with Harkins and create a dominant fourth line that is able to do a lot of work offensively.
