BREAKING: Bad News Strikes the Pittsburgh Penguins With Star Jake Guentzel
Penguins forward Jake Guentzel left the game early on Wednesday evening in the teams 5-2 loss with an apparent upper body injury as per coach Mike Sullivan at the end of the game. The Penguins are currently on a 3 game losing streak and are 7 points off a wildcard spot.
Penguins lose star forward for awhile
In an already lackluster of a season for Pittsburgh, they can't seem to catch a break with star forward Jake Guentzel expected to miss the next 4 weeks of action due to injury.
Guentzel, is having a career year and is a pending UFA at the end of the season. We can imagine that with the Penguins recent play he would be a big trade piece and a hot commodity for many teams and we won't expect teams to step back, but his value may have decreased.
