BREAKING: Brad Marchand Slew Foots Leafs Defenseman And Knocks Him Out Of The Game
A dirty hit has led to a major injury for a key piece of the Toronto Maple Leafs lineup.
Marchand Slew Foot Knocks Leafs Defenseman Out Of Game
Early in the game between the Maple Leafs and Bruins a dirty hit caused controversy. In a race for a puck Bruins forward Brad Marchand looks to have slew-footed Maple Leafs defenseman Timothy Liljegren.
NHL referees don't think this is a penalty on Marchand
How is that not a penalty!?
Liljegren leaves the game
Liljegren left the game after the hit and has not returned. If he is going to be facing a long-term injury it is absurd that no penalty call was made. Even with no penalty called there is still potential that Marchand could face discipline from the NHL at a later time.
