When Matthew Knies went down with an injury earlier in this series, Leafs fans all over held their breath. The highly touted rookie had been a huge part of the Leafs' physical presence, and was on the ice for some major goals. We now know what the odds are of Knies returning in this series.
Not Looking Good for Knies
Sheldon Keefe met with the media, and confirmed to reporters that Matthew Knies' chances if playing in game five were essentially zero, but the youngster had not been ruled out for game six should there be one.
Keefe also added that Knies hasn't skated since sustaining his concussion, which will almost certainly be a setback for Knies.
We'll have to wait and see if there even is a game six before we get excited about Knies' potential return.
