BREAKING: Maple Leafs Starting Goalie Unexpectedly Sidelined for Tonight's Game
The Toronto Maple Leafs made an official statement ahead of tonight's game against the Montreal Canadiens.
Maple Leafs Announce that Woll Won't Be Available for Tonight's Game
Joseph Woll was supposed to see some action for the Leafs, but unfortunately, he has flu-like symptoms and will not practice today or take part in the game scheduled for tonight.
Here's the official announcement:
"Maple Leafs G Joseph Woll (flu-like symptoms) will not practice today and will not be available for tonight's game."
Let's not forget that William Nylander is also sidelined for the same reasons. We hope that no one else catches that virus and everyone's healthy when the season starts.
Updates will follow.
