The @MapleLeafs announced today that goaltender Matt Murray underwent successful bilateral hip surgery. He is expected to miss a minimum of 6-8 months.
This as of now does not impact the Maple Leafs all that much. Murray and his salary are already on LTIR. For Murray, this is another set back in his long history of injuries.
Hopefully, for him, this surgery can get him back on track to finish his career in the NHL on a positive note.
