Matt Murray's career is in jeopardy after a recent announcement.
Murray On LTIR
Today the Toronto Maple Leafs sent struggling goaltender Matt Murray to the LTIR.
Murray will miss the entire season next year effectively ending his time as a Maple Leaf.
His cap hit will no longer count so the Leafs will have more leeway to make a move to have the best opening night roster possible.
