The Toronto Maple Leafs faced off against the Florida Panthers in game one of their series. Unfortunately, the Leafs did not get the results they were hoping for and lost the game by a score of 4-2.
The Leafs have been preparing for game two, including holding an optional skate for the players today, which had a solid turnout.
However, it was noticeable that some players opted out of the practice, including Ryan O'Reilly, David Kampf, Ilya Samsonov, and Noel Acciari. Although it was an optional practice, many were concerned as Ryan O'Reilly is usually a player who never misses ice time.
Despite these concerns, it is expected that O'Reilly will be in the lineup for game two as everyone has bumps and bruises during the playoffs.
