Maple Leafs Invite Intriguing Prospect To Camp
The Toronto Maple Leafs have invited a physically imposing player to their prospect camp.
Leafs Invite Greenway
It was announced today that the Toronto Maple Leafs invited Tyson Greenway to their prospect tournament.
Tyson Greenway has also been invited to Traverse City by Toronto. Leslie and Greenway will be the FA invites out of the WHL.
Greenway is a 6'1" 200lbs forward who plays a physical style of game. The name may sound familiar because his cousin Jordan plays for the Sabres.
What Greenway Brings
Greenway was passed upon in every year of his draft eligibility but he certainly has a solid chance of one day making the NHL. He blossomed into a top-line player for the Tri-City Americans last season posting 27 goals and 42 points in 68 games. However, he is a difference-maker in physicality.
Here are some of Greenway's highlights:
Greenway gets to the gritty areas and if he can further refine this skill while maintaining his physicality, he could become a Toronto Maple Leaf one day.
