Max Domi Backs Up Nick Robertson When All Hell Breaks Loose
Last night, Max Domi was involved in a play that shows exactly what he brings to the table.
Domi Backs Up Robertson Against Xhekaj
At the end of the second period, Xhekaj shoved Robertson into the board, and Max Domi didn't waste any time backing up his young teammate.
As you can see, he comes in fast and doesn't back down in front of Xhekaj.
Take a look:
"Xhekaj deserves his penalty, no doubt, but they're really letting this two-hander by Robertson go?"
What Domi Brings to the Table
Fans in Toronto are going to love Max, just like they loved Tie.
Max's style is a unique combination of grit and talent.
Yesterday, he scored his first goal at the Scotiabank Arena in the Leafs' uniform.
In this sequence, he reads the ice well to create a first chance with Nylander, and jumps on the rebound to score.
We can't wait to see him in the regular season!
