The Toronto Maple Leafs are on the brink of elimination from the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and things aren't looking very good for them right now. With the Florida Panthers outplaying them in every aspect of the game, it's no surprise the Panthers have become many people's favorites to win the cup. These new odds, however, may just send Leafs fans over the edge.
Panthers the Favorites to Win the Stanley Cup
The Florida Panthers have pulled together an incredible playoff run after being down 3-1 in the quarterfinal series against Boston. Now, having the Leafs on the brink of elimination up 3-0, how have their odds shaped up? The Athletic is here to tell us.
Surely this won't make Leafs fans too happy, especially considering this is a franchise who never gives up hope. Many thought the Leafs would be unstoppable following their historic first round win against Tampa Bay, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
We'll have to wait and see if the betting odds tell the truth, or if another team will win it all.
