Reaves Lets the League Know that Things Are Changing in Toronto
Ryan Reaves is a noted physical presence who isn't afraid to throw his body or his fists around. Recently, he was asked about what he can contribute to the Leafs on the ice, and preventing incidents such as when Radko Gudas yelled in the face of Joeseph Woll after the series clinching win.
Reaves and Other Additions Bring a New Look to the Leafs that Many Identified as Missing in Previous Years
The Leafs are going to look a bit different this season, adding some toughness in their depth roles with Ryan Reaves, Max Domi, and Tyler Bertuzzi. While Bertuzzi isn't necessarily a fighter, he is a skilled player who isn't afraid to get in the mix when things go sideways.
Domi and Reaves, on the other hand, will add some toughness to the Leafs' third and fourth lines that they were missing before. This gives the Leafs that edge at more times during the game than previously, when it was limited to when Wayne Simmonds was in the lineup.
