In breaking news, it appears the Toronto Maple Leafs have made a controversial decision in goal for tonight's game against the Boston Bruins.

Leafs Appear To Be Starting Ilya Samsonov Tonight For Second Game in A Row

With Joseph Woll back from his injury and playing well for a win in his first game back a few days ago, many thought he and Ilya Samsonov would trade starts for the remainder of the season. However, it appears that won't be the case, as Ilya Samsonov was the first goaltender off the ice today, indicating he will get the start for the second game in a row.

However, Keefe made a comment after practice which would indicate that the starter for tonight isn't clear.

Ilya Samsonov was the first goalie off the ice and was the projected starter against the Bruins based on this.

However, in Keefe's comments about the game plan for goalies, he hints at not wanting Woll to sit for too long.

Tonight's starter isn't clear.

With Woll so soon recovered from his injury, it would be troubling to see him sit for too long and not get his games in, especially since he played well in his return. However, Samsonov also had an incredible game against the New York Rangers, earning the Leafs a win.

The goaltending competition in Toronto is heating up, and we will see who earned the start tonight as the decision becomes clear.
