Timmins is expected to slot on the Toronto Maple Leafs third pairing alongside Simon Benoit. Oliver Ekman-Larsson joins Morgan Rielly on the first line, with Chris Tanev and Jake McCabe on the second D pair.
Tanev played for Toronto against Detroit after
a potential injury scare Tanev in which he missed the Leafs last game against Winnipeg with what was reported by the team as a lower-body injury.
It's unknown why Myers is out, if for an injury or personal reason, or if this is the Leafs again moving around the lines to bring players time in the lineup alternating between one another.
