The Maple Leafs former Head Coach Sheldon Keefe has landed in New Jersey, and now there's already speculation the two sides could look to do business.

After a disappointing run in Toronto, Sheldon Keefe was promptly fired to start the off-season, but now the former Maple Leafs boss is officially taking over as Head Coach of the New Jersey Devils.

Unsurprisingly, akin to Kyle Dubas' departure, there is already rumours that Keefe's new team are open to doing business with the Maple Leafs, with one reporter speculating that the Devils could target Calle Jarnkrok in a trade with Toronto.

I could see NJ asking about Jarnkrok.

Keefe loves him and according to @CF_DepthCharts, Curtis Lazar is their current 3RW which is not ideal.

With a potential trade of Mitch Marner incoming this summer for the Maple Leafs, it's unclear whether or not they'll look to move some depth pieces like Jarnkrok, but on paper, it makes sense for Keefe and the Devils. There's certainly going to be no lack of speculation surrounding the Maple Leafs this summer, and whether or not any deals like this get done, the team will look to make plenty of changes, with this one being a potential deal for Toronto and New Jersey.
