If you're a Maple Leafs fans and want to make sure you don't miss their stars during the Olympics, here's the important information you need to know going in.

As the Winter Olympics get going, a lot of attention is going to be on the Maple Leafs players who are set to take part in the ice hockey portion. Auston Matthews, William Nylander, and Oliver Ekman-Larsson are representing the blue and white in Milan as they quest for international supremacy.
They aren't going to play for a bit, however we can at least give you a heads up as to when you can expect to watch these stars in action.

Team USA and Team Sweden schedules for 2026 Olympics

Now both Team USA and Team Sweden won't face off with each other until the later rounds if they make it through, there are still a ton of preliminary games to play and we'll start with the captain.
Auston Matthews will take the ice for the first time against Team Latvia on Feb. 12 with that game scheduled for 3:10 PM ET, followed by Feb. 14 against Team Denmark at 3:10 PM ET again, finally ending things the next day against Team Germany at 3:10 PM ET.
William Nylander gets a bit of an earlier start as he plays Feb. 11 albeit at that same 3:10 PM ET slot, but then things get interesting. On Feb. 13, fans will need to get up extra early as the game is scheduled for 6:10 AM ET against Finland, and another 6:10 AM ET start against Slovakia the following day (Feb. 14).
After things are settled and we find out the seedings, we will get two early 6:10 AM ET games for the play-offs, and then a 10:40 AM ET game followed by a 3:10 PM ET game (Feb. 17).
The quarterfinals only feature one early bird game, with another being played at 12:10 PM ET; all other times remain the same. (Feb. 18)
The semi-finals come at 10:40 AM and 3:10 PM respectively on Feb. 19, leading up to the Bronze Medal game at 2:40 PM ET on Feb. 21, and the Gold Medal game being at 8:10 AM ET on Feb. 22.
We could see Matthews, Nylander and Ekman-Larsson face off as early as the 17th or as late as the 22nd, so it will be more of keeping an eye on both teams to see if either makes it to the end.
So if you're wondering when the Maple Leafs teammates become rivals, you better keep your schedule open and set a couple extra alarms just in case.
