After Wednesday's practice saw Joseph Woll return to the ice, William Nylander's return from illness also found itself with a huge update coming out of it.

In what can already be a huge sign of relief for the Maple Leafs, goaltender Joseph Woll returned to practice on Wednesday, as well as John Tavares who has been battling an illness for the better part of a week. The sickness has made its way through the locker room and managed to infect a few players on the Leafs.

William Nylander was one of those unfortunate victims of illness, missing practice yesterday and his status being unknown for Wednesday's game against Los Angeles. Well, it's good news for the Maple Leafs and for Nylander as he looks to have improved to being a game-time decision as opposed to staying out the contest:

It would be a massive improvement from yesterday where it was presumed Nylander had the same illness that kept John Tavares out of Saturday's game against Pittsburgh. If Nylander is healthy enough to suit up and he won't get winded too early, look for Toronto to have all guns ablazing as they try to add to their two-game win streak when they take on David Rittich and the Los Angeles Kings.

Nylander has been a bright spot for Toronto this season, leading the team in goals already and has been able to find incredible chemistry with fellow linemate Max Domi, as evidenced by this gorgeous dish from Domi to Nylander on Saturday:

Game starts at 7:30 PM ET and we will update you with more information if Nylander is starting or not as we learn of it.
