Maple Leafs Send Knies To The Marlies
Insider Chris Johnston just announced that the Toronto Maple Leafs have sent rookie Matthew Knies to the AHL in preparation for a trade.
Hearing the #leafs will send Matthew Knies to the AHL Marlies in a paper transaction today to preserve some flexibility down the stretch, if needed.
Knies will likely be called up soon but this is certainly something to look out for.
