Everywhere you looked over the last few weeks, Mitch Marner was likely front and center. Sources around the league believe there is some clarity that is presenting itself in regards to this situation, and that a resolution is coming very soon.
Fans around the league have been annoyed with how good the Vegas Golden Knights have been since entering the NHL as an expansion team during the 2017-18 season. They especially weren't happy when Vegas won the Stanley Cup two seasons ago, claiming that such a new team in the league shouldn't be winning that fast.
