NHL announces new time for Leafs and Bruins game 6
Today the NHL made an announcement that will impact Game 6 of the series between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins. The league announced a new start time for the game that has fans up in arms.
The Toronto and Boston series to this point has had start times around 7 pm for each game. For Game 6 this will switch to an 8 pm start according to a new announcement from the NHL.
Thursday., May 2
� The start time of Game 6 of the First Round series between the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs has been set for 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, May 2, in Toronto. The game will be televised on Sportsnet, CBC and TVA Sports in Canada. In the U.S. the game will on TBS and MAX.
The change has also been reflected now when you type Maple Leafs and Bruins into a search engine the game time is listed at the newly correct 8 pm.
This decision by the NHL is one that is apparently not popular. In the short time since it was announced a whole segment of fans has taken to social media to complain.
For some fans the change seems to be an inconvenience but not the end of the world. For others, it is a dealbreaker that is leading them to tune out the game entirely on Thursday night.
Regardless of the new start time, the Maple Leafs will need to come ready to play. They are once again in a must-win game against a rival.
