Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Noah Chadwick wins coveted CHL award

Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Noah Chadwick of the Lethbridge Hurricanes has officially won the CHL's Scholastic Player of the Year Award for his work this year.

Back in 2023, the Toronto Maple Leafs selected Noah Chadwick in the 6th round of the NHL draft with the hopes of him one day becoming an everyday NHL player for them.

During a breakout year with the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the WHL, scoring 56 points in 66 games as a defenseman, Chadwick earned an NHL contract from the Maple Leafs.

Today it was announced that Chadwick has won the CHL's Scholastic Player of the Year Award.

Chadwick reportedly finished high school a year early and is earning impressive results in his college-level classes.

Saskatoon product Noah Chadwick has been named CHL Scholastic Player of the Year.

The @WHLHurricanes defender graduated high school a year early and is already posting grades of well above 90 percent at the post-secondary level.

Chadwick will likely return to the WHL next season and after that look to play professional hockey for years to come.
